Gwinnett man receives two life sentences for ‘sacrificing woman her two yr old son

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. – On December 1, 2023, a Gwinnett County man received two consecutive life sentences without parole possibility for the murder of a 30-year-old woman and her two-year-old son, according to Gwinnett County District Attorney Patsy Austin-Gatson. On Easter Sunday in 2017, Natalie and Cole Nation were killed by strangulation and blunt force trauma.

The mother and son were residing with the suspect, Brandon Craig Williams, and his father. “Channel 2 Action News previously reported that Natalie Nation was Williams’ father’s girlfriend.” Court documents revealed that Williams mumbled about needing to burn down the house to his father and his father’s friend, who were standing outside, and then walked to a local gas station.
