Gwinnett County school teacher arrested for 2020 beating death of two year old boy

GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga. – In a joint effort, the Warner Robins Police Department, Houston County Sheriff’s Office, United States Marshals Service Regional Fugitive Task Force, and District Attorney’s Office arrested a 32-year-old Norcross woman regarding the beating death of a two-year-old in 2020. Authorities revealed that the toddler, Karter Ambrose, was beaten with an unknown object, resulting in the laceration of his liver and, ultimately, his death.

Kianna Aiesha Renee Davis, along with 32-year-old Kiyon Benton, was charged with malice murder, second-degree murder, two counts of felony murder, aggravated assault, first-degree child cruelty, and second-degree child cruelty. Davis remains in custody awaiting a bond hearing.
