FLOYD COUNTY, Ga. – On September 28, 2023, 46-year-old Brian Glenn Cross admitted to law enforcement officers that he knowingly downloaded and possessed “child sexual abuse material.” On September 1, 2023, a Floyd County police officer received a tip regarding “35 images of a female child approximately nine – 12 years of age.”
The officer noted, “27 were sexually explicit images, and eight were erotica. The photos had been emailed to an account belonging to Brian Cross.”
Authorities executed a search warrant at Cross’ Lexington Lane residence, where they collected his cellular device (an iPhone) and laptop. “Cross consented to the search of the devices.”
Officers interviewed him at his home and later at the Floyd County Police Department. They revealed they knew the child sexual abuse
