Man suffers multiple lacerations after being attacked with machete at Kingsland hotel

CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. – On November 10, 2023, a manager at the King’s Inn and Suites called 911 regarding a physical fight in the parking lot and requested EMS due to a possible head injury. When Kingsland Police officers arrived, they learned that a man had attacked another man with a machete.

They found one victim in the lot with “multiple lacerations” and “bleeding from his head.” Many bystanders had gathered and told the officers the culprit ran toward the north side of the hotel.

Witnesses said the attacker was a “Black Jamaican male, with no shirt, and a rag on his head.” Another witness advised that the suspect ran into one of the rooms.

Outside the room, they found a “panicked” man who told them a male had run inside. They found the suspect “sitting in a chair in the corner of the room.”
