The following was taken from a press release distributed by the Atlanta Police Department on June 5, 2024:
FULTON COUNTY, Ga. – On 6/5/24, around 2:11am, officers responded to a person shot at the location of 1135 Oakland Lane SW. Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was alert conscious and breathing. Grady EMS responded to the scene and transported the male to the hospital for treatment.
Preliminary investigation indicates the male was robbed of his vehicle and belongings and shot by two male suspects wearing all black clothing. The victim stated he did not know the suspects.
Investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
