On 06/16/2023 I, Officer Jay Chastain was on patrol in the area of Ga-15 and covered bridge. I observed a maroon Ford Ranger traveling southbound on Ga-15. I ran the tag on the vehicle and it came back with the registered owner having a felony warrant for failure to appear.
I then sped up to see if the driver of the vehicle matched the description of the owner of the vehicle. As I passed I observed a middle age white male driving which matched the description of the registered owner. The vehicle then turned off the roadway and I could no longer see the vehicle.
I made a u-turn and headed North on Ga-15 where I spotted the vehicle pulled off at Duvall Ford. I then proceeded to the covered bridge and made another U-turn. As I was passing the car lot I seen the vehicle sitting at the
