On 6/14/2023 @ 20:26 I C. Alexander was requested to place Deputy C. Scot #619 a phone call. I contacted #619, he advised me to keep a look out for a grey in color Dodge Neon with a North Carolina plate to be traveling North towards North Carolina through the city.

I was advised that Deputy Hyer #612 had run the North Carolina plate and it returned stolen out of North Carolina. Deputy Hyer turned around to locate the vehicle, but he lost sight of the vehicle at the Forest Ranger’s office in Tallulah Falls.

At 21:04 I observed a grey in color Dodge Neon traveling North on GA15 at the intersection of Hwy 76 East. I followed the vehicle to the parking lot of Twenty Penny and ran the tag through Dispatch. #612 advised me that was the vehicle that he was looking for and Dispatch confirmed that the tag was stolen.

I activated my emergency lights while behind the vehicle. #612 asked if I saw the Pontiac that was traveling with the vehicle. I advised that the Pontiac was there but drove off after I activated my emergency lights. I advised the driver of the vehicle, Mrs. Christan Cagle that the reason I stopped her was because her tag was reported stolen out of North Carolina.
