On 06/18/2023 at approximately 2228 hrs, I was dispatched to [1900 BLOCK] Salisbury Way in reference to a domestic in progress. The complainant stated her children’s father was beating her and her kids.
On scene, I made contact with Quentin Jones, who I was familiar with from previous domestic altercations at this residence. Mr Jones stated he and his girlfriend (Donna Oliver) were in a verbal argument when she began to throw candles and other objects at him before striking him several times. Mr Jones then pushed Ms Oliver away from him and walked outside.
Mr Jones stated his stepdaughter [WITNESS #1] saw the altercation and pointed to a female who was sitting next to him. Mr Jones had a small laceration on the inside of his upper lip. I was unable to obtain a photograph of Mr Jones injury.
