Clayton couple arrested for holding elderly woman down in chair severely beating her over parking spot

RABUN COUNTY, Ga. – On December 6, 2023, Clayton Police officers arrested 43-year-old Sarah Elizabeth Stephens and 51-year-old Lamanuel Marquez Fisher for imprisoning and severely beating an elderly woman. On December 5, 2023, officers interviewed the 68-year-old victim in a Mountain Lakes Medical Center room, who told them “she kept thinking” the suspect “was going to make her lose her eyeball.”

The officers noted “bruising around both her eyes, injuries to her face and head,” and “swelling on her upper chest area.” She appeared to be in pain as she explained that her friend had parked her vehicle in her neighbor Stephens’ spot before Stephens yelled at her and then later attacked her.
