Bibb County officers stop man for panhandling learn he is wanted in three states

The following was taken from a press release distributed by the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office on November 27, 2023:

BIBB COUNTY, Ga. – A Bibb County Sheriff’s Office S.R.T. Unit deputy patrolling on Brookhaven Road recently observed this wanted man panhandling and stopped to make contact. When the deputy asked the male his name, he responded with a false name.

A fingerprint scanner showed the suspect was wanted in three states with one warrant from a neighboring county. He was taken into custody and transported to the BCSO Law Enforcement Center.
