7 yr old boys leg severed after being run over by train parents charged

MUSCOGEE COUNTY, Ga. – On October 30, 2023, a six-year-old boy playing near train tracks in Columbus, Georgia, fell underneath a passing train and suffered a severed leg. The boy is now seven years old, and his parents, 32-year-old Tony Rogers and 29-year-old Rahkeisha Willis, face charges of reckless conduct.

Officials set a court date of March 19, 2024, for Rogers and Willis. Investigators stressed the juvenile’s extreme luck that he did not suffer more severe injuries or even death.
