On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at approximately 2254 hours, I, Officer D. Alfonso, was patrolling the area of Joe Frank Harris Parkway and Clubview Drive, Cartersville, GA, when I conducted a registration status inquiry for a white Hyundai Accent bearing Georgia’s license plate which was seen traveling on Clubview Drive.

According to the results, the vehicle’s registration had been suspended by the State of Georgia and that no valid insurance was on file.

A traffic stop was conducted in the parking lot of the QuikTrip Gas station located at 1364 Joe Frank Harris Parkway. Upon approaching the driver, I made contact with Mr. Ronnie Hufstetler, who immediately stated that his driving privileges had been suspended.

When Mr. Hufstetler was confronted about the vehicle not having valid insurance, he stated that the vehicle was due to be repossessed, and that was the reason an insurance policy was not purchased.

I conducted a driver’s status inquiry on NCIC for Mr. Hufstetler using his full name and date of birth of [REDACTED], 1979, and the results stated that Mr.
