On August 4, 2023, myself and Officer Miller responded to Hamilton Medical Center on 1200 Memorial Dr in reference to an assault call. Dispatch advised that a patient, identified as Johnny Edward Morris, had assaulted a nurse, identified as [VICTIM #1].
We arrived on scene and made contact with [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] told me he was advised by another person that Johnny was urinating in a trash can in one of the emergency rooms. [VICTIM #1] went to check on this and observed Johnny urinating. [VICTIM #1] asked Johnny to stop and an a verbal argument ensued.
