On 06/08/2023 I was in the parking lot behind the Short Stop when a concerned citizen flagged me down telling me I needed to go to the Short Stop due to a situation/incident occurring.
Upon arrival into the parking lot and opening my car door I could hear yelling and the word “mother fu*ker” coming from a gentleman near the front of the store. It appeared the subject was irate and was using fighting words such as “mother fu*ker” and stated a man in a red shirt behind the counter.
I instructed the male to calm down and grab his belongings. I stepped into the store to check on the well being of the customers and the clerks. I spoke with the clerk, Mr. [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated a customer came to him saying there was male in the parking lot causing a disturbance. The such male was later identified as Anthony Williams.
[VICTIM #1] stated Williams has been irate and upset with him due to him calling the police on him in the past. [VICTIM #1] stated Williams came into the store cursing at him and stating he would beat his a*s. [VICTIM #1] then stated Williams said he shouldn’t be there and left the store.
However when I arrived on location Williams was still on location speaking in a loud boisterous manner and using profane language as if he was getting ready to fight. Williams had previously called 911 and spoke with Officer Parson on a previous call. Williams wanted to know what to do if someone made him angry, at the time it was unknown if [VICTIM #1] was involved.
