On 06/21/2023 I, Deputy Diaz conducted a traffic stop at the 80 mile marker southbound on Ga 401. The traffic stop resulted in the arrest of a Tracy Melvin Bryan of Chula, Georgia for Driving while license suspended, suspended registration, no insurance, Dui – less safe, Open container.
While at the 82 mile marker Southbound I was notified by Deputy Taft that he received a hit on his LPR (tag reader system) which notified of a suspended registration for a black in color Chevy Silverado bearing Georgia tag [REDACTED]. The vehicle was traveling southbound in lane 1. Upon verifying the vehicle was a match I activated my emergency lights and initiated a traff stop on said vehicle. I made a passenger side approach on the vehicle and identified myself as law enforcement and as to the reason for the stop.
