On 07/22/2023, I Sgt. David Williamson/191 along with other officers responded to [700 BLOCK] West Street for the report of a subject forcing himself into a residence and was refusing to leave. Upon arrival, I made contact with victim/[VICTIM #1] who stated that subject/Knowles had forced his way into her residence with a machete in his hand and was threatening her. [VICTIM #1] stated she fled the residence.
I then made contact with Knowles who was yelling loudly and telling us to get out of his yard. He stated he rented the house and she was not bringing any man up in there. Knowles has not lived at the residence in months and his home of record is [200 BLOCK] Tommie Drive Vidalia, Ga.
I attempted to talk to Knowles who became extremely belligerent, cursing the officers and told us on several occasions if we came through the door he would kill us. One statement was he had a gun and would shoot us. Chief Jermon/100 was contacted and he advised us to tape off the area and to try to continue to talk with Knowles in an attempt to defuse the situation.
