On 031124 at 1237 hours, I (Dep C. Banks) was dispatched to 1120 15th St (AUMC) in reference to a past assault.
Upon arrival, I made contact with the victim ([VICTIM #1]), who had severe bruising and swelling to her left eye. Ms [VICTIM #1] stated she was sleeping at a homeless camp somewhere on Saint Luke St when her boyfriend came up and began accusing her of cheating. The altercation turned physical when Goree began hitting her in the face. Ms [VICTIM #1] was unsure if Goree was hitting her with closed fist, or kicking her.
I attempted to locate Goree in the area, but was unable to find him. Ms [VICTIM #1] stated she does not know where he may be. Ms [VICTIM #1] was given her case number and advised how to obtain a copy of the report, as well as the warrant application process.
