On Sunday, March 3rd, 2024 at approximately 0217 hours, Sergeant Stephen Brown, Sergeant Eard Trimmingham, Corporal Joshua Freeman, Deputy Diana Santiago, Deputy Cameron Carreras responded to the Circle K Gas Station at 1488 Reynolds Street in reference to multiple calls about customers fighting at the location.

Upon arrival, Deputies located and detained all subjects involved who were identified as Shardae Stevens (Arrested), Dmeka Davis (Arrested), Allissia Brown (Arrested/Victim), VICTIM #1, VICTIM #2 and WITNESS #1.

Sgt. Brown observed a white 2020 Dodge Journey (GA Tag: [REDACTED] VIN: [REDACTED]) parked in the parking lot that was registered to Allissia Brown. Sgt. Brown observed the front windshield to the vehicle had been destroyed and there were dents/scratches to the hood of the vehicle. Sgt. Brown observed the total damages exceeded $500.00.

Sgt. Brown photographed the vehicle and the crime scene. Sgt. Brown later added copies of the photographs to the Case File. The photographs were later transferred to a DVD-R that was logged onto Property Receipt #534178 and placed into the Digital Evidence Locker at the Daniel Village Substation.

Sgt. Brown observed that 1488 Reynolds Street was the location of the Circle K Gas Station. Sgt. Brown observed the gas station was located on Reynolds Street which runs east to west. Sgt. Brown observed the location was at Reynolds Street’s intersection with 15th Street, just before Reynolds Street changes over to Riverwatch Parkway. Sgt. Brown observed the business faces west and has multiple gas pumps beneath an overhanging roof to the west of the front door of the business.

Sgt. Brown observed the 2020 Dodge Journey was parked in the southwest corner of the parking lot, facing east. Sgt. Brown further observed a broken windshield squeegee in the parking lot on the ground next to gas pumps #5 and #6. Sgt. Brown observed the tool had an approximately 3-foot-long wooden handle that was separated from the metal and rubber squeegee. Sgt. Brown observed the handle was painted red and had sharp wooden splintered edges from the break.

Sgt. Brown would then review the security camera footage from the business. Sgt. Brown collected a copy of the camera footage and later downloaded to a DVD-R. Sgt. Brown would later capture screenshots from the footage that were also transferred to a DVD-R. The DVD-R was later logged onto Property Receipt #534178 and placed into the Digital Evidence Locker at the Daniel Village Substation.

Sgt. Brown observed that at approximately 0207 hours, a black SUV arrived in the parking lot near pumps 3 and 4. Sgt. Brown observed [VICTIM #2] exited the driver’s front door of the vehicle and entered the business. Shardae Stevens remained in the passenger’s front seat and [WITNESS #1] remained in the driver’s rear seat of the vehicle.

At approximately 0208 hours, the white 2020 Dodge Journey arrived in the parking lot. Dmeka Davis exited the driver’s front door while Allissia Brown exited the passenger’s front door. Shortly after, [VICTIM #1] exited the driver’s rear door of the vehicle. All three subjects then entered the business.

Sgt. Brown observed that while inside the business, a short exchange of words between [VICTIM #2] and Dmeka Davis before they all exited the business. Dmeka Davis appears to aggressively walk behind [VICTIM #2] while [VICTIM #1] attempts to pull her back. At this time, [VICTIM #2] shouts towards her vehicle, causing [WITNESS #1] and Shardae Stevens to exit the vehicle. It appears that words are exchanged but both parties separate momentarily as [VICTIM #2] pumps gas into her vehicle.

Allissia Brown can then be seen approaching [VICTIM #2] and striking her multiple times in the face with a closed fist. At this time, Dmeka Davis begins assisting Allissia Brown with striking [VICTIM #2]. Shardae Stevens then approached the group from behind. Shardae Stevens being significantly larger than the other females, she then grabs Dmeka Davis from behind and throws all of the females to the ground. The group then began to engage in a fight on the ground next to a trash can. During this time, [VICTIM #1] and [WITNESS #1] both appear to attempt to break up the fight from both sides, but they are both unsuccessful.

Shardae Stevens then introduced a weapon to the fight as she removed the red-handled squeegee from the trashcan and began lifting it high above her head before striking Dmeka Davis several times in the head with significant force. [VICTIM #1] places her hands above Dmeka Davis to shield her from the attack and Shardae Stevens begins striking [VICTIM #1] in the hands. Shardae Stevens then slammed [VICTIM #1] to the ground as she tried to stop the attack. [VICTIM #1] attempts to remove the weapon from Shardae Stevens and reason with her but Shardae Stevens attempts again to strike [VICTIM #1].

At this time, the parties momentarily separate and [VICTIM #1] can be seen stepping in between the group and putting her hands up. Shardae Stevens then immediately began to strike [VICTIM #1] multiple times in the head with the metal end of the squeegee. Shardae Stevens then appears to walk away, out of breath and the group briefly separates again. As Dmeka Davis, Allissia Brown and [VICTIM #1] attempt to get into their vehicle, Shardae Stevens begins running at the vehicle before striking the windshield several times with the same weapon.

Sgt. Brown observed Shardae Stevens strikes the front of the vehicle with the same amount of force in which she struck Dmeka Davis and [VICTIM #1]. Sgt. Brown observed this level of force was enough to completely shatter and destroy the front windshield of the vehicle. Sgt. Brown observed that as the vehicle pulls away, Shardae Stevens continues to try to strike the vehicle multiple times with the squeegee.

Sgt. Brown observed that as the vehicle pulls to the side of the parking lot, Deputies arrived on scene to detain the subjects.

Sgt. Brown then photographed the injuries to the subjects involved. The photographs were later transferred to a DVD-R that was logged onto Property Receipt #534178 and placed into the Digital Evidence Locker at the Daniel Village Substation.

Sgt. Brown observed [VICTIM #2] suffered from a bloody and busted lip as well as abrasions to her chest/neck area from being struck by Allissia Brown and Dmeka Davis multiple times. Sgt. Brown observed Dmeka Davis to have swelling to the back of her head from the strikes inflicted by Shardae Stevens, but it was not visible due to her hair. Sgt. Brown observed [VICTIM #1] suffered from bruising and swelling to her face and hands from the strikes inflicted by Shardae Stevens. All subjects were treated at the scene by Central EMS but refused transportation to the hospital.

Sgt. Brown observed that while the subjects were in the back of the vehicles, Shardae Stevens was continuing to act hostile and belligerent. Sgt. Brown observed Shardae Stevens began screaming and slamming her head against the partition in the patrol vehicle, causing herself to bleed.

Sgt. Brown noted that Shardae Stevens shouted that she wanted to go to jail and that she did not “Give a fuk because she is not scared of sht!” Sgt. Brown noted that Shardae Stevens shouted she can “do 10 years and not cry” because she did not “give a fu*k”. Sgt. Brown observed Shardae Stevens would not cooperate with EMS when they initially attempted to provide treatment, but she later allowed EMS to clean her up.

Shardae Stevens then began shouting that everyone better feel lucky that “they weren’t calling the morgue for these biches”. Sgt. Brown noted Shardae Stevens began spontaneously shouting “I hate Georgia biches! I hate these ghetto as hes! I’m from North Augusta bich! I got class! Fuk y’all project-as hes! Y’all ain’t got sht, bich! Y’all momma’s on crack! That’s why y’all mad bich! My momma ain’t on crack bich! Fu*k y’all! I’m gonna be out tomorrow!” Shardae Stevens would continue shouting expletives and continued to make threats that she wanted to kill the other females involved.

Sgt. Brown spoke with all subjects and they all advised that they wished to prosecute.

Shardae Stevens was booked into the Charles B. Webster Detention Center for 2 counts of Aggravated Assault and 1 count of Criminal Damage to Property in the 2nd Degree. Dmeka Davis was charged with 1 count of Battery for striking [VICTIM #2] multiple times. Allissia Brown was also charged with 1 count of Battery for striking [VICTIM #2] multiple times.

An inventory of the 2020 Dodge Journey was conducted by Corporal Russell Schaffer and it was towed from the scene by the list wrecker company which was Wright 1 Paint and Body.

Warrants were obtained and turned over to the Records Bureau.
