On June 17th 2023 at approximately 02:04 I, D/S Steven Barnes responded to [10 BLOCK] Corinth Ln. in reference to a possible home invasion in progress. While en route, dispatch advised that the male subject was at the front door attempting to enter the residence. Dispatch advised the male subject was the callers ex boyfriend, and was believed to be under the influence of alcohol.
Upon arrival, I observed the male subject later identified as Mario Geronimo Garcia standing in the driveway. I approached Garcia, as Corporal Dakota Dills went to speak with the complainant who was later identified as [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] advised Dills that she didn’t want to press charges on Garcia, and just wanted him to leave the residence. While speaking with Garcia, I observed him to have slurred speech, as well as glossy and red bloodshot eyes. I asked Garcia how he got to the residence, in which he stated he drove there approximately 20-30 minutes ago. I then asked Garcia which vehicle was his, in which he pointed at a silver in color Nissan Frontier bearing Georgia tag [REDACTED]. I then asked Garcia how much he had to drink tonight, Garcia stated “a couple beers”. I then asked Garcia what a couple beers was, in which he stated approximately 8 beers.
