On 02/27/2024 I Deputy Harris was dispatched to [40 BLOCK] Martha Lane in reference to a missing person.
Before my arrival dispatch advised me that Fort Valley PD located the missing person later identified as Jacori Searcy. I then arrived on scene and gave Searcy a ride back home. As I arrived at the house I made contact with Searcys mom identified as [VICTIM #1] and Step dad later identified as [VICTIM #2] and they both explained that Searcy had some mental issues and needs help.
As [VICTIM #1] was talking Searcy attempted to walk away from the resident again and Searcys step dad [VICTIM #2] attempted to stop him by standing in from of him. At this time Searcy attempted to strike [VICTIM #2] in the face multiple times and [VICTIM #2] grabbed Searcy to restrain him from hitting him and escorted him into the house. At this time [VICTIM #1] attempted to help [VICTIM #2] and Searcy hit her in the face at this time me and Deputy Goggin stepped in and placed Searcy under arrest and transported him to the Peach County Sheriffs Office and charged him with Disorderly Conduct.
