On 12/4/2023, reporting Deputy Jennifer Potts #1273 with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office Juvenile Division, while working my assigned duties at Austin Middle School was notified of an incident, by Cpl. Cross. Cpl. Cross advised that Allgood Elementary School was on lock Down due to a parent bypassed the front office and was running in the school.
While enroute to the location I was notified that the female identified as Latesha Richardson had been detained by patrol units on scene. Upon my arrival I heard Ms. Richardson in the rear of a marked patrol unit screaming and using profanity. I made contact with Officer Pace who advised the female had entered the school and when the school did not allow her to see her child fast enough she went through the office and ran down the hallway. Pace explained while she was running down the hallway she was calling everyone trying to stop her a “mother fu*ker’.
