On March 21, 2023, I was dispatched to Edgefield Lane for a child abuse complaint. I spoke to the complainant, who stated her babysitter lived at this address, and when another friend of hers who uses this same babysitter came to pick up her 10 month old daughter, she said the 10 month old had what appeared to be scratches and swelling under her left eye.
When she asked the babysitter what happened, the babysitter said the complainant’s 1-year-old daughter had scratched her daughter’s face.
I spoke to the offender, and she stated the complainant’s 1-year-old daughter scratched the 10-month-old baby’s face, while they were in the back seat of her car.
