On July 27, 2023, I responded to a family fight in the area of Heaton Road in Covington, Georgia, by telephone.
I spoke with the complainant, who was located at Rockdale Medical Hospital at the time. While speaking with the complainant, she stated that her son became physical with her after speaking with him about a firearm that was found in a backpack that was located in the home. The complainant stated that the argument happened in his bedroom and became physical. The complainant stated that after the altercation and fight, she left and went to work and was advised to go to the emergency room to have the bruise looked at. Rockdale medical staff got in contact with the Newton County Sheriff’s Office to report the incident that occurred.
