On February 17, 2024, Madison County E911 received an E911 call reporting a structure fire at [200 BLOCK] Happy Hollow Road, Comer, GA. The E911 call was reported at approximately 6:08 PM hours, by the neighbor, [WITNESS #1] at [200 BLOCK] Happy Hollow Road.
Collins VFD, Comer VFD and Danielsville VFD responded and conducted fire suppression extinguishing the fire. Due to suspicious circumstances, Collins Fire Command, [REDACTED], requested fire investigator(s) be en route. I was notified via phone at approximately 6:40 PM hours by Madison County E911. I spoke with [REDACTED] via phone and learned there was no power to the structure and a blue car was seen leaving the area at the time of the E911 call.
This incident is under investigation and is being assisted by the State Fire Marshal’s Office as well as the Collins VFD.
