On June 21st, 2023, at approximately 1438 hours, I (Deputy Johnston) was assigned duties as a H.E.A.T. Unit (Highway Enforcement of Aggressive Traffic) with the Habersham County Sheriff’s Office. I was contacted by Lieutenant Floyd regarding a possible impaired driver he stopped on Hwy 197 at Hwy 365.
I arrived at the location and spoke with Lt. Floyd who advised he initially responded to the location regarding a physical domestic. Lt. Floyd advised he located the vehicle involved and observed a female driving the wrong way on Hwy 197. Lt. Floyd contacted the female and believed she was
