On 07/21/2023 at approximately 15:40 hours, I was dispatched to 1035 Red Bud Rd (Gordon Advent Health) in reference to a domestic dispute. When I arrived on scene, I spoke with Ms. [REDACTED]. Ms. [REDACTED] advised that the hospital had called and advised her that her son, Mr. Danny Weldon, was drunk and she needed to pick him up.
Ms. [REDACTED] went to pick up Mr. Weldon. Ms. [REDACTED] advised that she could not take Mr. Weldon to her home because the apartment manager stated that he was not allowed to be on the property anymore. Ms. [REDACTED] advised that Mr. Weldon needed to go to jail to sleep off the alcohol.
After speaking to Ms. [REDACTED], I spoke to Mr. Weldon. Mr. Weldon stated that he was drunk and he needed to sleep. While trying to figure out what to do with Mr. Weldon, Mr. Weldon advised that we should just take him to jail. While speaking with Mr. Weldon, I observed that his movements were choppy, his speech was slurred, and his eyes were bloodshot.
