On 2 June 2023, I, Detective Henson, was contacted by Georgia Division of Aging (A.P.S.) Investigator M. Dove in reference to an Elder Abuse Referral she had received. Investigator Dove advised it was a high priority follow up protocal due to the possible physical assault.
I travelled to the Grouse Lane address along with Investigator Dove where we attempted to make contact with the victim, [VICTIM #1]. We were greeted by Mrs. [WITNESS #1], daughter in law/suspect’s mother. [WITNESS #1] said [VICTIM #1] had gone to a graduation gathering for another grand child.
Myself and A.P.S. Investigator Dove asked [WITNESS #1] if we could speak with her. [WITNESS #1] said yes and asked if it was about the incident between [VICTIM #1] and her, [WITNESS #1], and her son. I said it was. We spoke with [WITNESS #1] on the back porch of the residence just off the dining room of the house.
[WITNESS #1] explained that [VICTIM #1] and Jesse, suspect, had driven to a family gathering for a Memorial Day gathering. [WITNESS #1] said that while on the way, Jesse and [VICTIM #1] found what they thought was a lost
