On May 02, 2023 at approximately 1018 hours, I, Cpl. Pim #553 with the Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office received notification from Gilmer County Dispatch that a nurse from Fannin Regional would like a call in reference to a patient who arrived and stated that he was assaulted in Gilmer County.
I then contacted [REDACTED] with Fannin Regional who stated that [VICTIM #1] arrived at their facility and had visible injuries to his face that is consistant with an assault. [VICTIM #1] stated to her that it happened at a co-workers house located at [600 BLOCK] LOST FOREST ROAD ELLIJAY, GA 30536.
I then contacted on-call Detective Stanfield #596 who stated that Detective Farnham #594 would be enroute to Fannin Regional.
