On the above date and time I PFC J Wright was dispatched to [1700 BLOCK] Wax d for a domestic issue. I arrived on scene and spoke to [VICTIM #1] and he stated his father(John Dobson) was extremely upset with his wife([WITNESS #1]) and kicked a door off the hinges and pointed firearm at him. [VICTIM #1] informed me John pulled the trigger and he heard the firearm click. [VICTIM #1] advised me John stated the previous week he would kill [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated he removed the bullets from the firearm.
[WITNESS #1] stated she witnessed John pointing the firearm at [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #1] informed me John entered the kitchen and started breaking things. I noticed several broken dishes on the floor. [WITNESS #1] stated when John kicked the bedroom door off the hinges, she became trapped in the bedroom.
I spoke to John and he stated he did kick the bedroom door off the hinges. John informed me he was upset because [WITNESS #1] promised him earlier in the week she would sleep with him this weekend. John advised me [WITNESS #1] went to bed in another room around 1 a.m. The total damages to the property was approximately 200 dollars.
Due to John’s medical condition I placed the handcuffs in front of his body. I assisted John into the back of my patrol vehicle and transported him to jail.
