Dalton man charged after deputies find him spying on women through drilled hole outside home

WHITFIELD COUNTY, Ga. – In the early hours of September 22, 2023, Whitfield County Sheriff’s Uniform Patrol Division deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hester Circle in Dalton, Georgia. The report involved a man lurking on the property and peering through the complainant’s wall.

Upon arrival at the scene, the deputies encountered two females, and according to their statements, they spotted the male intruder lying on the ground beneath the roof of the house. They promptly directed the deputies to the location where they had seen him.

One deputy proceeded towards the side of the residence, where he discovered an individual fitting the description. The male, later identified as Paul Edward Stewart Jr., wore all-black clothing and had taken refuge under the house’s roof near a hole that had been drilled into the side of the wall.
