On 01/31/2024, I witnessed a vehicle traveling on McCall Rd and turn his lights off as he was on the roadway and turned into Bevill’s Mobile Home Park. I turned my patrol vehicle around, and located the vehicle in Bevill’s Mobile Home Park. Upon approaching the vehicle, I smelled the odor of Marijuana emanating from the vehicle. Upon arrival of additional units, I had the driver, Dominique Ellison, step out of the vehicle. As he stepped out of the vehicle, Dominique repeatedly yelled, waking many people in the neighborhood.

I placed Dominique into handcuffs, and placed him into the rear of my patrol vehicle. Upon searching his vehicle, $90 in 5’s was located, along with 3 $10’s, and several dollar ills. These items remained in the vehicle. I placed Dominique under arrest for Disorderly Conduct on the county ordinance, and I issued him a citation for having turned off his lights while on the road, and Failure to wear a seat belt as he had his seat belt belted in behind his person, and not around his body. Dominique was transported to the Effingham County Jail without incident. I returned to service with a report.
