On February 15, 2023 at approximately 1333 hours, Sergeant Jordan Phillips responded to the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a walk in report. Upon arrival, Sgt. Phillips made contact with complainant, [REDACTED].

[NARRATIVE #2 on February 12, 2024]
On Monday February 12, 2024 at approximately 1100 hours, Investigator Steve Clark was advised by Investigator Vincent Edmond that Inv Edmond had been notified of an update to the previously reported case involving [VICTIM #1]. Investigator Edmond told Investigator Clark that the father, [WITNESS #1], had called and stated that the child, [VICTIM #1] had came home from visiting her mother, [REDACTED], and claimed that she had been inappropriately touched by momma’s boyfriend.
Investigator Clark requested a forensic interview.
A subsequent forensic interview revealed that Bradley Smith had allegedly touched 5 year old [VICTIM #1] on her female genitalia with his finger as well as other acts of molestation.
