On 07/29/2023 at approximately 2052hrs I, Deputy Bufano, responded to [100 BLOCK] Austin Storey Cir in reference to a subject armed. This call resulted in the arrest of Candice Sibley.
E911 dispatch got a call from [WITNESS #1] advising his wife, Candice Sibley, had a handgun in her possession and just shot in the air two times. [WITNESS #1] advised Candice was pointing the gun in his direction but he did not believe she was going to shoot him.
Upon my arrival to the scene I came into contact with Candice and [WITNESS #1] in the front yard. [WITNESS #1] was standing on the driveway while Candice was in the front yard near the front door. Candice was crying, slurring her words while speaking and was stumbling while walking toward me.
I approached her and smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath. I detained her into handcuffs at this time, I sat her down and began speaking with her. I asked what happened tonight, she stated her dogs were fighting and she grabbed her firearm and shot it into the air two times to break the dogs up. I did locate two 9mm shell casings on the rear porch of the residence.
