On January 1st,2024 at 2015 hours, I was dispatched to The Texas Roadhouse at 23 W Montgomery Cross Rd in reference to a Domestic Dispute. My BWC was active and I made contact with VICTIM #1.
Mrs. [VICTIM #1] advised that Mr. Moore followed her from the house at [2700 BLOCK] Bismark Ave to the Texas Roadhouse at 23 W Montgomery Cross Rd. Mr. Moore parked his 2015 Honda Pilot in front of her vehicle blocking her in. She was unable to back her vehicle up because there was another vehicle parked behind her. Mr. Moore got out of his vehicle and started arguing with Mrs. [VICTIM #1]. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] noted that Mr. Moore said that he was going to kill her. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] believed that Mr. Moore was going to kill her. Mr. Moore then got back into his vehicle and parked it near Mrs. [VICTIM #1]. She then got out of the car with her cousins and went inside of the restaurant to call police. She advised at one point Mr. Moore was holding his pistol in his hand and was attempting to put it back into his pocket, but dropped the gun on the ground.
Mrs. [VICTIM #1] showed me the texts between her and Mr. Moore at [REDACTED]. Mr. Moore incited that Mrs. [VICTIM #1] was with another man during the New Years festivities. Mr. Moore stated in a text “That’s why ima kill you too for taking his side”. These texts took place throughout the day on 01/01/2023.
I then spoke to [WITNESS #1] and [WITNESS #2]. They advised that they heard Mr. Moore say that he was going to kill Mrs. [VICTIM #1] during the argument in the parking lot of the Texas Roadhouse.
I read DVA Lethality to Mrs. [VICTIM #1] see supplemental. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] spoke over the phone with a memeber from Safe Shelter. Video footage of the incident was obtained and uploaded to Axon Capture. Photos of the text messages were uploaded to Axon Capture.
I issued a CRN and explained how to obtain a copy of the report.
