On the above date and time, I was dispatched to the above location in reference to an unknown domestic in progress with possible weapons. Upon arrival I heard the offender screaming in the residence. I then knocked on the door and stepped to the other end of the porch with my service pistol drawn. The offender opened the door and I advised him to let me see his hands and step out of the door way slowly. He complied.

I then asked the offender to lift his shirt and turn around 360 degrees slowly and then I asked him to get on his knees and place his hands behind his back, he also complied. I placed him in investigative detention and sat him on the front porch. I then entered the residence and called out stating “Sheriff’s Office!” and his wife (which was barricaded with her three children in one of their children’s bedrooms), [VICTIM #1], B/F, D.O.B [REDACTED], called out stating that they was in the bedroom.

I walked to the bedroom where they was located and observed damage to the bottom left corner of the door where someone tried to kick it in. Mrs. [VICTIM #1] opened the door and stated that he tried to get in the room. I asked what happened and she stated that she tried talking to the offender about getting some help for mental instability and he started hollering and screaming that her and the kids are the devil and that her and their three children went to one of the kids room and locked themselves in there and called 911.

I then advised the offender that he was under arrest for disorderly conduct and criminal trespass and I placed him in the back of patrol vehicle and I had gotten statements. I then transported the offender to the Charlton County Jail where he was turned over to the Jailor on duty and warrants will be secured for the above offenses.

This case is closed.
