On June 23, 2023 at 2353 hours, I, Officer North was patrolling Main Street at Cheeves Street in my conspicuously marked patrol vehicle, with working lights, sirens, and camera. While driving north on Main Street, I noticed a black Lexus UX (Year: 2019, Tag: [REDACTED BY AGENCY], VIN: [REDACTED BY AGENCY]) driving north on Main Street fail to maintain its lane by driving on the right outside fog line.
I continued to follow the vehicle north on Main Street. While following behind the vehicle, I observed the black Lexus fail to stop at the stop sign on Main Street, before turning right onto Dallas Highway. I activated my emergency lights to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle. I was able to get the vehicle stopped on Main Street at Magnolia Street.
