On 6/25/2023, at approximately 0220 hours, I, Ofc. Massey, responded to the area of State Route 8 and Westview Drive serving as a back-up officer to Trooper Phillips who was conducting a traffic stop. I arrived on scene in my conspicuously marked Villa Rica patrol vehicle equipped with emergency lights and siren.
Upon arriving on scene, I made contact with Trooper Phillips. Trooper Phillips had placed Jonthan Gunn under arrest for O.C.G.A. 40-6-391(A)(1) and O.C.G.A. 40-6-181. I took custody of Gunn and transported him to the Villa Rica Police Department where he was booked-in, fingerprinted, and issued citations. Gunn was transported to Carroll County Jail for housing.
