BIBB COUNTY, Ga. – Bibb County Sheriff’s Office make an arrest in an Aggravated Assault incident that occurred just before 6:20p.m, in the parking lot of Walmart, located at 6020 Harrison Road.
It was reported that the male victim was sitting in the lower parking lot inside his vehicle when he was approached by a male. The male attempted to make entry into the vehicle and when the driver started the vehicle the suspect fired shots through the passenger window.
The driver was struck in the leg and attempted to flee from the suspect by driving around the back of Walmart and then around to the lower entrance. He then ran inside for help.
He was transported to Atrium Health and is listed in stable condition at this time. No one else was injured in the incident.
