On Saturday June 10, 2023 at approximately 1739 hours, I was in the area of Porter St and Erwin St conducting traffic enforcement.

I observed a silver Jeep Compass bearing tag number enter the intersection without coming to a complete cessation of movement. I moved behind the above vehicle and initiated my emergency lights and siren to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle. The vehicle came to a final rest in the parking lot of 195 Cassville Road (Public Safety Headquarters).

I made a driver’s side approach to the vehicle and identified the driver as Trevor Copeland by his GA Driver’s License. Mr. Copeland’s Driver’s License was run through GCIC and returned as suspended as well as an active warrant for Mr. Copeland’s arrest for Failure to Appear- Driving while License Suspended.
