On June 09, 2023 at 1056 hours, I was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Lakeshore Circle Acworth, GA. 30101 in reference to a simple battery FVA report.
Mother, [VICTIM #1] said she asked her son, Timothy Roper what he spilled on the kitchen floor. Timothy got mad and started calling her a “Bit*h”. Timothy grabbed her by the head with both hands and started slamming her head into the refrigerator three times. She tried to get away from Timothy. Timothy grabbed her and threw her to the ground causing her to fall on a pet food dish. She stated she had pain in her shoulder. She did not want any treatment from Metro EMS.
Timothy said her did call [VICTIM #1] a “Bit*h” but he did not put his hands on his mother. He said he and [VICTIM #1] both tripped over the food dish while walking.
[VICTIM #1] did not have any physical injuries but was complaining of pain to her shoulder where she fell on the food dish. [VICTIM #1] refused any treatment for her shoulder pain.
Timothy was placed into handcuffs and was seated in the rear of my patrol vehicle. Timothy was transported to Bartow County Jail and was released to Jail staff without incident.
Warrants were taken on Timothy.
