On 06/05/2023 at 0020 hours, I was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Black Creek Road in reference to a domestic.
Upon my arrival, I made contact with Courtney Smith, [REDACTED], [VICTIM #1], [VICTIM #2], [VICTIM #3], [REDACTED], and [WITNESS #1]. Courtney Smith stated they all were at Coopers Park letting the kids were playing basketball. Courtney stated he grabbed his step-daughter, [VICTIM #1], to get her away from the other kids. Courtney stated once he began to pull her away the other juveniles began to jump on him, hitting him.
I spoke with Juvenile [VICTIM #1], who stated Courtney did grab her and pull her away. While in the process, he punched her on the left side of her face. I observed a mark under her neck and he face appeared to be red and slightly swollen.
Juvenile [VICTIM #3] stated he attempted to break up the fight, and in the process he got punched in his face.
Juvenile [VICTIM #2] did not give any information to me. I observed physical marks on his person that would be indicators of being involved in the
