I was dispatched to [2000 BLOCK] North Jefferson Street in reference to someone being charged at with a knife. Dispatch advised me that the victim had pepper sprayed the offender. EMS was notified and dispatched to the residence as well.
Upon my arrival, Deputy Carpenter was already on scene. She had already made sure the knife was secure and checked on the offender, later identified as Bobby Hall. I then made contact with the victim,
