[NARRATIVE #3 on March 25, 2024]

On Tuesday 03/25/2024 at approximately 2301 hours, Deputy Almeida was dispatched to [1000 BLOCK] W Circle Dr in reference to a kidnapping in which a shooting occurred and a child was taken from the residence.

Dispatch advised the suspect was driving a green van, with Utah Tag [REDACTED]. Dispatch advised that the tag was returning not on file. Sgt Agredano and Deputy Almeida arrived on the scene.

Upon hearing the tag returned not on file, I assumed that an incorrect tag number had been given.

I immediately checked the flock system and was able to identify the correct tag as being Utah [REDACTED] by using past hits on the plate. The tag was displayed on a green Chevrolet Uplander Van. The vehicle also had a yellow “baby on board” sticker affixed to the rear of the vehicle. I relayed this information to the units on scene as well as dispatch, as Sgt. Agredano had already requested assistance from Tennessee and requested a ping on the suspects phone. I was unable to locate the suspect in the area.

A photo of the vehicle was sent to units on scene at the time. I also immediately sent this to Detective Camp, who had advised he was en route to the scene.

The above listed vehicle was later located in Tennessee and subjects were taken into custody.

On the listed date and time, I went to the Ruterford County Tn in reference to picking up Ms. Anjela Baker on an outstanding arrest warrants for kidnaping warrant # W24030157 and conspiracy to commit agg. Assault fva warrant #W24030158. Upon confirm the offender had waived extradition (on 03/25/2004), and receiving the proper paperwork I took the offender into custody.

Upon taking custody of the prisoner Ms. Baker, she was placed in handcuffs and ankle shackels. Both the handcuffs and shackels were checked for fit and double locked. The offender was then searched and no contraband or weapons were found. Prior to placing the offender in the back of my patrol vehicle I searched my back seat for contraband and weapons and nothing was found. I then placed the offender into the back seat of my patrol vehicle. I then transported the offender to the Walker County Jail. Upon arrival at the jail the offender was removed from my vehicle and I searched the rear seat of my patrol vehicle for contraband and weapons and nothing was found. The offender was then turned over detention personnel.
