On April 16th, 2024, I, Deputy Greenway, and Deputy Terry, were dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Forrest Park Ln. in reference to an assault. While in route to the incident location, dispatch informed us that there were multiple people calling in.

Upon arrival, I spoke with a victim, [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] was shaking and crying during our encounter stating multiple times she was scared for her life. She stated that everybody in the house was asleep when the shooting occurred and did not witness anything. [VICTIM #1] informed me that the residence was shot up last week and began to point out new bullet holes in the house. She pointed out approximately 2-3 new bullet holes in the downstairs front room window and hallway, approximately 2 new bullet holes in an upstairs closet, and approximately 2 new bullet holes in [VICTIM #2]’s room. [VICTIM #2] was asleep in his room when the shooting occurred.

I walked out side and began to look for shell casings. I found shell casings in the roadway starting at the incident location and going down towards [100 BLOCK] Forrest Park Ln. There appeared to be two different types of shell casings. Myself and Sergeant Winkles marked all the shell casings with evidence markers.

I also spoke with [WITNESS #1] who lives at [100 BLOCK] Forrest Park Ln. He stated that he woke up at around the time the shooting started. When he looked out the window, he saw approximately 2 subjects jump into a white Toyota Corolla and leave.

Sergeant Fitzgerald with CSI and Detective Hoskins with CID arrived on scene. I turned the scene over to them.
