On September 3rd, 2023, I responded to [100 BLOCK] Highwood Dr., Covington, GA 30016, in reference to a family fight. While en route, dispatch advised that the call was being reported third party. A few moments later, dispatch advised that they had contact with a female. Dispatch advised that there was a female on the line, mentioning a knife that was involved.
Upon my arrival, I walked to the front door, where I could hear a lot of arguing coming from the inside of the residence. I knocked on the door, and a woman opened it, crying and panting. The female was identified as Mrs. [VICTIM #1]. While Mrs. [VICTIM #1] was standing in the doorway, I observed a male, who was later identified as Mr. Michael Stocks, sitting on a bar stool near the kitchen. I instructed Mr. Stocks to come outside to me, where I then patted him down for any weapons due to the accusation being made about him having a knife.
