On September 4th, 2023, at approximately 03:24 hours, I responded to a family fight in the area of Mcgiboney Lane in Covington, GA, 30016.

Upon my arrival, I spoke with the offender standing in the front yard, and he stated that he and the victim, who is his girlfriend, had an argument, but nothing happened. I then went inside the residence and spoke with the victim, and she stated that she and the offender, who is her boyfriend, had an argument, and he attacked her by hitting her and choking her by putting his right arm around her neck and mouth area.

Through further investigation, I observed bruises on the victim’s bottom lip, right arm, and left knee. There were scratches on her face on the left and right cheeks. I took pictures of the victim by using Axon Capture and uploading them to evidence. An arrest was made, the offender was transported to the Newton County Jail, the offender was turned over to the detention officers, and I obtained warrants.
