Freightliner truck stolen from Monroe County BP gas station located police investigating

The following was taken from a press release distributed by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office on January 9, 2024:

Update: The EPES truck and trailer that were subject to the BOLO on January 8, 2024 has been recovered in College Park. This is still an ongoing investigation if anyone has any information please Investigator Daniel Ahlstrom at the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office at 478-994-7043 ext 256.

MONROE COUNTY, Ga. – The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the theft of a 2022 Freightliner and enclosed trailer from the Rumble Road BP gas station that occurred on January 7, 2024. The pictured truck is an example of what the stolen truck and trailer look like.

The truck and trailer are both white in color and marked with the company logo, EPES Transportation System. The truck number is 22082 and the trailer number is 639333.
