On 03/04/2024, I deputy J. Robinson was dispatched to [2700 BLOCK] Coral Way in reference to a 911 hang up.

Upon arrival, I heard yelling, it sounded like a female and a male arguing. I knocked on the door and made contact with [WITNESS #1] and her brother Nathan Jones. I also made contact with Ms. [WITNESS #1] cousin, and who called 911, Ms. [REDACTED].

Ms. [WITNESS #1] advised Mr. Jones was her bother and he had to much to drink and he will not go to bed. She stated he continues to speak in attempts to argue with her. It was apparent Mr. Jones was under the influence of an alcoholic beverage, due to his slurred speech and the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from his person. He was also unbalanced on his feet.

Ms. [WITNESS #1] advised she just wanted him to go to sleep. I attempted to gather Mr. Jones identification from him but he would continue to get confused and get aggravated at his sister. I advised him to just sit down and sleep off the alcohol but he continued to argue and asked me to lock him up. I continued to asked him to sit down and go to sleep.

Ms. [WITNESS #1] came back into room to assist me by telling him to sit down and go to sleep that I was trying to leave the residence. He stepped close to Ms. [WITNESS #1] and began to raise his voice close to her face to a point where she told him to get out of her face. I then grabbed his left arm putting it behind his back securing both his hands behind his back. The cuffs were double locked and checked for fit. I was assisted by Sgt Humphries who arrived on scene to assist.

I advised Mr. Jones he was being charged with Disorderly Conduct and escorted him to my patrol vehicle. He was then transported to the Jones County LEC to await his charge. I was advised by dispatch Mr. Jones had an active warrant out of Maryland for failure to appear.
