On July 16, 2024 at approximately 1507 hours DEPUTY M.D. RALSTON with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division was dispatched to [200 BLOCK] Louise Lane Calhoun, Gordon County Georgia in reference to a domestic dispute.
Upon arrival DEPUTY RALSTON spoke with [VICTIM #1] whom stated his brother CHRISTOPHER GONZALEZ had cut him with a kitchen knife and ripped his shirt. [VICTIM #1] stated they had gone to grab food for their family, he stated CHRISTOPHER got mad over the price and went crazy. [VICTIM #1] stated he grabbed a kitchen knife and was jabbing it at him in a stabbing motion, [VICTIM #1] stated he ran up stairs and locked himself in his bedroom. [VICTIM #1] stated CHRISTOPHER began banging on the door while cussing and yelling. [VICTIM #1] then stated he opened the door and had managed to grab a hold of the knife causing it to cut his thump. [VICTIM #1] stated his brother then dropped the knife and left.
While on scene DEPUTY RALSTON spoke with the mother [WITNESS #1] who was at home during the incident. [WITNESS #1] stated CHRISTOPHER had gotten mad about the food and starting cussing towards her and [VICTIM #1], she stated CHRISTOPHER then grabbed the knife and was chasing [VICTIM #1] with it. [WITNESS #1] stated both boys went up stairs while she was down stairs yelling at CHRISTOPHER to stop. [WITNESS #1] stated CHRISTOPHER came back down stairs and was cussing her out before walking out side and getting in a 2023 Grey Toyota Corolla and leaving.
[WITNESS #2] whom is the sister to CHRISTOPHER and [VICTIM #1] was also on scene and witnessed the incident. She stated CHRISTOPHER had grabbed the knife and chased [VICTIM #1] upstairs to his bedroom. [WITNESS #2] stated CHRISTOPHER was banging on the door then [VICTIM #1] opened the door and grabbed the knife from CHRISTOPHER. [WITNESS #2] stated CHRISTOPHER ran out and left. DEPUTY RALSTON asked everyone on scene where CHRISTOPHER would be going, [WITNESS #2] stated probably to his girlfriends residence but could not give an address. Both [WITNESS #2] and [WITNESS #1] attempted to make contact with CHRISTOPHER but had no response.
At approximately 1625 hours this date [WITNESS #1] advised CHRISTOPHER had arrived home. DEPUTY RALSTON went back to the residence placing CHRISTOPHER under arrest for Aggravated Assault.
Photos of [VICTIM #1]’S hand and the knife have been placed in the Gordon County data base for evidence. DEPUTY RALSTON applied for a state warrant for said offence.
