On Thursday June 22, 2023 at approximately 1820 hours Deputy J.W. STEVENS with the Gordon County Sheriff’s Office Uniform Patrol Division was patrolling the area of Interstate-75 south near mile marker 317.
Deputy STEVENS observed a black Nissan Altima weaving in its lane as well as failing to maintain its lane. The vehicle would cross the fog line on the right and the dashed lines on the left several times. The vehicle also followed behind a tractor trailer truck at a very unsafe distance approximately 10-15 behind the truck at speeds of 70 mph.
